If you are in a publicly accessible area within the UK there is no reasonable expectation of privacy and permission is NOT required. This is the same law that allows CCTV to operate. The right to record video and photos and disseminate those images however you like is protected under Article 10 of the Human Rights Act.
Is there a physical barrier preventing access? If there is not or the barrier is left open then there is an implied right of access and photographs and video can be taken whilst on private property (this is referring to industrial and commercial property, NOT residential where things differ) and only a court order can force their deletion. You may have a policy of 'NO CAMERAS' on site, however that only applies to your employees.
You have the right to remove the implied right of access simply by asking the person to leave. Refusal to leave however becomes trespass and trespass is a civil matter and that is NOT enforceable by the police, they do not have the power to remove someone from private property merely for trespass.
A sub 250 gram drone can be flown almost anywhere, and at almost any height below 120 meters. The rules for these low weight drones are significantly different from the heavier ones. The only restricted areas (known as NFZ or No Fly Zones) are above airfields, spaceports, military sites and prisons. Crowded areas (where people cannot move out of the way from a falling drone) and emergencies where a drone could possibly interfere with an air ambulance or fire truck for example are also to be considered NFZ's, these however are temporary and once the hazard has gone so is the NFZ.
There is a free app that can be downloaded to any smartphone called DRONE ASSIST that the Civil Aviation Authority use to inform drone pilots whether they can fly in a particular area or not, you can use this to determine if your property is in a NFZ or not. I use this app before every flight to ensure I stay within the law.
